Leonid Buryak

Buryak brought refinement to Dynamo Kyiv’s midfield: a left-footed playmaker with passing range, set-piece quality and the ability to dictate tempo from advanced or central zones. Unlike the purely physical Soviet midfielder stereotype, he offered craft, disguise and clean technical execution, especially in combinations around Blokhin and the forward line. His strength was not only creativity, but the precision with which he inserted it into a highly structured team mechanism.
