Volodymyr Onyshchenko

In the great Dynamo Kyiv side of the mid-1970s, Onyshchenko functioned as a mobile forward built for combination play, not as a static penalty-box finisher. He pressed, rotated, attacked channels and connected naturally with Blokhin, giving the team vertical movement around a highly rehearsed collective structure. His honours, including the 1975 Cup Winners’ Cup and UEFA Super Cup, reflect a player whose intelligence often mattered as much as his goals.
