All-Time World Cup

Sixteen immortal national teams. Four groups. One path through football history—and this time, the decisions are yours.

16 nations25 players per squadGroups + knockoutOne champion

The World Cup has only just ended, and Spain are champions. Now you have the chance to lead one of sixteen all-time national teams to victory in the greatest tournament Legends Database has ever built.

The Match Simulator was the first real step. You built impossible teams, tested ideas across eras and turned football arguments into matches. You embraced it far beyond what we expected. The All-Time World Cup is the natural consequence: no longer a single night, but a complete campaign in which every choice follows you.

A group-stage mistake can change the route to the final. A tired starter can become a problem three days later. A captain can steady a difficult dressing room—or fail to. By the time the knockout rounds arrive, you are not managing a collection of ratings. You are managing a tournament story.

And this is still only the second major step. What comes after it is larger again.

01
Choose your history

Sixteen nations. Sixteen ways to play.

Brazil bring expressive attacking football and fearless invention. Italy live in the spaces between control and the counter. The Netherlands carry total football. Uruguay bring the old competitive fire. Every country arrives with its own squad, historical shape, tactical identity, pressure profile and tournament DNA.

You are not selecting a badge and changing the shirt colour. You are choosing the strengths you will trust, the weaknesses you will hide and the kind of pressure you will have to survive.

More than a sequence of matches

Your own tournament command centre

The Campaign Hub is where the World Cup breathes between kickoffs. Scout the next opponent, review the group, read the developing stories, follow leaders and records, then return to Team HQ to make the decisions that matter.

Team HQ

Build the side on the pitch

Choose historical systems, reshape the XI, assign the captain, set pieces and individual instructions, then see how naturally the plan fits the players.

Campaign

Manage condition and morale

Fitness, pressure and emotional residue travel through the tournament. Rotation is no longer cosmetic; it can decide who is ready when the route narrows.

Analytics

Follow the whole competition

Goals, assists, ratings, clean sheets, cards, momentum, form and records evolve across every match—not only your own.

03
A squad, not just an XI

Twenty-five legends. One difficult team sheet.

Every national squad has been built to create real choices. Quality, balance, leadership, fatigue, tactical fit and personality all compete for your attention. The obvious eleven may be the strongest on paper and still be wrong for the opponent waiting tomorrow.

You can inspect each department, understand the identity of the team and see how the squad reacts to the plan. Suggested captains and historical systems can guide you, but none of them make the decision for you.

Look closely

Stats, stories and things we are not explaining yet

The numbers go far beyond the final score. You will be able to follow the players defining the tournament, the sides changing shape under pressure and the records that emerge only because this particular World Cup happened this particular way.

There are also easter eggs, historical collisions and details designed to reward curiosity. Some announce themselves. Others appear only when the right player, manager, opponent and moment meet. We could publish a list. We would rather let you find them.

The system beneath the pressure

The tournament remembers what a match did to your players.

The Emotional Engine tracks activation, tension and frustration through events on the pitch, then carries a controlled residue into the next fixture. A missed penalty is not forgotten when the calendar moves forward. Neither is the lift of surviving a match you were expected to lose.

05
The match still matters most

Everything leads back to kickoff

For all the new layers, the core remains the thing that started this phase of Legends Database: the Match Simulator. The World Cup uses that foundation, then gives every tactical choice a past and a future. The match you play tonight changes the one you must prepare tomorrow.

Advanced tactics, opponent analysis, condition, emotional pressure, team chemistry, hidden historical connections and full tournament statistics now live inside the same campaign. The result should feel bigger than a mode. It should feel like managing a World Cup that could only exist here.

The next chapter

Your World Cup begins this month.

The All-Time World Cup will launch in premium beta by September 30, 2026. Sixteen nations will enter. Only one version of history will be yours.
