Rules

Group stage format

The tournament starts with four groups of four. The real drama begins with the tiebreakers.

1Each group contains one team from each pot.
2Top two nations from every group advance to the quarter-finals.
3Tiebreakers: points, goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head, fair play, drawing of lots.
4Knockout route will be built from group position: A1 vs B2, B1 vs A2, C1 vs D2, D1 vs C2.
